Information under Articles 13 and 14 GDPR. Written to be read rather than to be defensible — if a sentence here is unclear, that is a defect and we would like to hear about it.
The shortest privacy notice is the one written by a site that collects almost nothing — so this one is short because the engineering is, not because the lawyer was brief.
The company that decides why and how this data is processed.
The confirmed company and contact details are in the imprint.
The design decisions that make the rest of this page short.
This site is a set of static pages. There is no database behind it, no login, no session, and no visitor profile — not because we minimised after the fact, but because none of it was built. That is the reason the sections below are as thin as they are.
We treat that as an engineering claim you can check rather than a promise you have to take on faith. Open your browser's developer tools: the storage panel shows no cookies, while the network panel shows our own assets and the Plausible analytics request.
The unavoidable data — a web server cannot answer a request without it.
Every page you open sends our host a request. That request is logged so the page can be delivered and so we can see attacks and faults.
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| IP address | Delivering the response; detecting and blocking abuse | Art. 6 (1) (f) — our legitimate interest in a site that works and is not attacked | Short-term, in our host's operational logs |
| Time of request, URL requested, status code, bytes sent | Operating the site; diagnosing errors | Art. 6 (1) (f) | Short-term, in our host's operational logs |
| Browser and operating system as reported by your browser, referring page | Compatibility and understanding which pages are reached from where | Art. 6 (1) (f) | Short-term, in our host's operational logs |

These logs are not combined with any other data, not used to build a profile, and not used to identify individual visitors.
The only place on this site where you hand us data on purpose.
The form asks for your project goal and area, name, email address, company and message. Resend delivers the submission by email to the Veren recipients configured by us. There is no CRM enrichment or marketing automation.
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, company | Answering you and, if it goes further, preparing an engagement | Art. 6 (1) (b) — steps taken at your request before a contract; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) | Until the enquiry is closed, then in our correspondence records while commercial retention duties apply |
| Your message | The same | Art. 6 (1) (b) or Art. 6 (1) (f) | As above |
| Selected project goal and area | Preparing a relevant first conversation | Art. 6 (1) (b) — steps taken at your request before a contract | As above |

Please do not send patient data, trial data, production records or anything else confidential through the form. It is a first-contact channel, not a secure transfer channel. Ask us and we will set up something appropriate.
If you write to one of the addresses in the imprint instead, the same applies to that email.
We measure whether the site works without building visitor profiles.
Plausible records aggregated page views, referrers, campaign parameters and selected events such as starting a demo, generating or exporting a blueprint, clicking a consultation link and submitting a contact request. We do not send form entries, documents, transcripts or voice-session content to Plausible.
Site assets come from our domain; analytics is the documented exception.
The typeface is Poppins. It is downloaded once when we build the site and served from our own domain, so opening a page makes no request to Google or any other font host, and no IP address of yours reaches one.
The same is true of images, video and icons. There is no embedded map, no social widget, no video player from a third-party platform, and no content delivery network other than our host's.
When you submit a question at /explore, we send the conversation so far and selected published Veren content to Anthropic to compose a page. Use general business context without personal or confidential information. We do not store this conversation in a server database, cookies or browser storage. Expiring technical counters limit requests; provider processing follows the terms described below.
Copying a share link explicitly includes your questions and the selected view in its URL fragment. Anyone with the link can read or forward the snapshot. Downloading saves a brief on your device. See Explore data use for the feature's data flow and sharing details.
What happens to your voice at /voice, in plain words. Audio is processed and discarded; nothing is stored unless you ask for the transcript.
The demo runs only on fictional organisations, documents and personas. Before the microphone opens you read this, confirm that you will not give real patient data or report real adverse events, and choose between the microphone and the keyboard. The keyboard path delivers the same content.
With the microphone, each utterance is sent to our server, forwarded to the speech recognition processor named below, turned into text and discarded. The reply text is sent to the speech output processor and streamed back as audio. No audio is written to disk or logged, on our side or by instruction to the processors. The session runs over an encrypted connection with a short-lived session token, not a cookie.
The text of the session (what you say, what the assistant answers, which sources and actions were shown) is held in memory on our server for the session and at most 30 minutes after it, then deleted. The end-and-delete control removes it immediately. If you request the transcript by email, we send it once and keep a copy for 30 days to answer questions about it, then delete it.
Do not use the demo with real patient data. The assistant stops when it detects a real case or a genuine adverse event report and names a person to contact; that detection is a safeguard, not a substitute for your own care.
The complete list. If a company is not here, it does not see your data.
| Provider | What it does | Where | Safeguard |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ) | Cookie-free, aggregated website analytics. Receives page URLs, referrers and technical request data to report visits and selected conversion events; no form content or voice-session content is sent. | European Union (Estonia; hosting in the EU) | Data processing agreement; no cookies and no cross-site or cross-device tracking |
| Vercel Inc. | Hosting, content delivery and TLS termination. Sees the request data described under Server logs. | United States, with delivery from edge locations in the EU | Data processing agreement including the EU standard contractual clauses |
| Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) | Delivers contact-form submissions by email to the recipients configured by us. Retention depends on the service plan and settings. | United States | Data processing agreement including the EU standard contractual clauses and participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework |
| Anthropic, PBC | Runs the language model behind the voice assistant demo (/voice), Workflow Blueprint Studio and Explore with AI (/explore). Receives the text you submit together with the experience's fictional documents or selected published Veren content; never audio. Retention on the provider side is governed by its API data terms (no training on API data). | United States | The commercial terms incorporate a data processing addendum including the EU standard contractual clauses |
| ElevenLabs, Inc. | Speech recognition and speech output for the voice assistant demo, only when you choose the microphone. Receives each utterance for transcription and each reply for synthesis. We do not store the audio; provider-side handling follows the configured account settings and published service terms. | United States, with an EU processing region available | Data processing addendum including the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable |

Processing is governed by the applicable data-protection terms of each provider. Where Art. 28 GDPR requires it, we conclude a data processing agreement. The providers may not use the data for unrelated purposes.
We do not sell personal data, do not share it with advertising networks, and do not transfer it to anyone else except where the law requires it of us.
Our providers process data outside the EU. Here is what that means.
Our host, our email delivery provider and the language and speech processors of the voice demo are incorporated in the United States. The site is delivered from edge locations, including locations in the EU. Access from outside the EU therefore cannot be ruled out.
International transfers are governed by the contractual safeguards agreed with the respective provider. You can ask us for the relevant details.
Stated as fact, not as a certification we do not hold.
This describes the website. The controls that apply inside a client engagement are agreed in that engagement, and we answer security questionnaires as part of onboarding rather than claiming an outcome here.
Data that reaches us through work rather than through this website.
When we build or run a system for you, any personal data in that system is yours. We process it on your instructions as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR, governed by a data processing agreement — not by this notice. Send us your agreement, or ask for ours, at the data protection address below.
If you send us a CV or an open application, we use it to assess that application, keep it while the process runs, and delete it afterwards unless you agree to us keeping it on file.
Business contact details of the people we work with at clients, partners and suppliers are processed to run the relationship, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f).
There are none.
We do not profile visitors, do not score enquiries automatically, and make no decision with legal or similarly significant effect on you by automated means within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. We build AI systems; we do not point them at the people who read this site.
Free of charge, and answered within a month.
Right to object (Art. 21). Where we process your data on the basis of a legitimate interest — which on this site means server logs and unsolicited correspondence — you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We then stop unless we can show compelling grounds that override your interests.
Write to privacy@veren-technology.com. Please say which right you are exercising; it makes the answer faster. We may need to confirm who you are before disclosing anything, and we will not ask for more than that requires.
You can go to a regulator, and you can choose which one.
Our lead authority is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, Cyprus (www.dataprotection.gov.cy), because that is where the controller is established.
Art. 77 GDPR also lets you complain to the authority where you live, where you work, or where you think the infringement happened. For readers in Germany that is the data protection authority of your federal state; in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde; in Switzerland the FDPIC under Swiss law. You do not have to come to us first, though we would rather you did.
Versioned, dated, and never quietly.
We update this notice when what we do changes — a new processor, a new feature that collects something. The effective date at the top of the page changes with it. If a change materially affects people who have already written to us, we say so directly rather than relying on you rereading this page.
This page prints as a clean document if your review needs a copy on file.
Exercise a right, ask for the standard contractual clauses, or send us the data processing agreement your review requires. One address, answered by a person.
