Useful measurement does not have to mean following people around the web. We count outcomes, not identities.

veren-tool: — the interactive worksheets, described below

Plausible does not store or read information on your device. We therefore do not ask for cookie consent for this measurement. The legal basis for the limited processing is our legitimate interest in understanding whether the website and its core journeys work, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

The one exception: worksheets

Your answers, in your browser, going nowhere.

Some journal articles come with a worksheet you can fill in — a checklist, a scoring sheet, a small table. So your work survives a reload, the worksheet writes what you type into your browser's local storage under a key beginning veren-tool:.

  • It is written by code running in your browser, and it stays there. No copy is sent to our server, because there is no server-side endpoint to send it to.
  • It contains only what you entered into that worksheet. No identifier, no timestamp of your visit, nothing about you.
  • It only appears once you open a worksheet. Reading an article does not create it.
  • Every worksheet has a reset control that deletes its own entry. Clearing site data in your browser removes them all.

This is storage on your terminal equipment that is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested — the case § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG covers — so it needs no consent. If you would rather it did not happen, do not open a worksheet.

What Plausible measures

Enough to improve the site, not enough to follow an individual.

Plausible receives page URLs, referrers, UTM campaign parameters and selected events such as starting a demo, exporting a blueprint or submitting a contact request. Event properties describe the journey or use case, never the contents of a form, document, transcript or voice session.

  • No cookie or persistent identifier is placed in your browser.
  • There are no heatmaps, session recordings or advertising profiles.
  • Plausible does not track you across websites or devices.
  • Fonts, images and video continue to be served from our own domain.

How to check this yourself

Thirty seconds, and you do not have to trust us.

  • Open your browser's developer tools on any page of this site (F12, or ⌥⌘I on a Mac).
  • Application or Storage → Cookies. The list for this domain is empty.
  • Network → reload the page. In addition to our domain, you will see the Plausible analytics request.
  • Application or Storage → Local Storage. It is empty too, unless you have opened a worksheet.

If you find something on this list that turns out not to be true, we would genuinely like to know. Write to privacy@veren-technology.com.

If measurement changes

The standard we will keep applying.

We prefer measurement without cookies, advertising profiles or session recordings. If a future tool needs consent, it will not load before that consent and this page and the privacy notice will be updated in the same release.

We do not add measurement quietly and describe it afterwards. The effective date at the top of this page makes changes checkable.

This page prints as a clean document if your review needs a copy on file.

Found something that contradicts this?

The claims on this page are checkable in thirty seconds, which is the point of writing them this way. If a check comes out differently, tell us and we will fix the page or the site.
